Q: What is the HulaPoint™?
A: The HulaPoint™ industrial pointing device is a joystick-type mouse controller that allows for easy cursor control. In addition to right and left click, the HulaPoint™ also comes with a third, programmable button.

Q: What are "low-profile" keys?
A: Low-profile refers to the height of the keyboard keys. Low-profile keys are low to the keyboard's pad, and therefore, free of the hard to clean spaces of an office grade keyboard.

Q: What is "NEMA 4X"?
A: The National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA) classifies electrical products for their levels of harsh-environment protection. NEMA 4X products are certified for protection from splashing and hose-directed water, as well as corrosive liquids, dust, dirt, and external formations of ice. Equivalent toIP65.

Q: What is "IP65"?
A: This standard describes a system for classifying the degrees of protection provided by the enclosures of electrical equipment. Developed by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC), these standards are designed to numerically rate an electrical product on the level of protection its enclosure provides. By assigning different number codes, the product's degree of protection can be identified quickly and easily. In the code IP 54, for example, IP identifies this standard, the 6 describes the level of protection from solid objects, 6 – Dust tight and 5 describes the level of protection from liquids, 5 - Protected against water jets.

Q: What are function keys?
A: Function keys are modifier keys that expand the capability of a keyboard, by allowing for secondary use of existing keys. An example of a commonly used function key is the "Shift" key.

Q: How does the keyboard backlighting work?
A: The keyboard backlighting function is operated by simply holding down the "Fn" key, while pressing a light bulb key.

A: All SlimKey-MD models come with a 1 year limited warranty.
