IKEY introduces specialised mobile keyboard for rugged data entry
13 February 2006
IKEY, a leader in industrial computer peripherals, has released its newest rugged keyboard, the DP-72.
Engineered to accommodate data entry in the harshest of conditions, the DP-72 is constructed using a sealed, industrial silicone keypad and robust, polycarbonate case. It meets IP65 specifications for protection from dust, water and corrosive liquids, and is additionally able to withstand a temperature range of - 40º c to +90º C. Featuring a small-footprint design and mounting holes in its case, the DP-72 is ideal for use in mobile applications ranging from manufacturing to material handling. For added convenience, the DP-72 is designed for gloved-hand use by offering extra space between its unique, oversized keys. Other standard features include a large numeric pad, eight function keys and a color-arranged, alphabetic key layout.
